That's what i was wondering, should i put any energy into training my accuracy? Both my str and dex are 6+ above the minimum req's of my sword, so should i bother with accuracy, or just stick to training str and dex?

1.) You hit for 1407 points of damage. xxxxxxx resists 16 for a total of 1391 damage.

Here is what I found for melee player. I can see the increase of damage by adding 1-2 strength. On the other hand, I can not see any improvement after I increased 5-10 accuracy.

What's more, Zenith did mentioned that accuracy add little to no damage for melee player.

I wouldn't put too much dev pt. into accuracy personally.

But the shotguns second stat is strength so I think it would be different.

Maybe so, do you think intelligent would make an impact in shortblade or blunt in anyway?

It is possible that Zen decided to make the shotgun harder to get due to it being a stronger weapon in compare to other guns.

all i'm saying, zeon, is that from what i've heard from many players is that strength adds some damage for criticals on ranged weapons. so, to me, it only makes sense that acc would add damage to melee criticals. i'm not saying that its a crucial stat to increase for melee, but, for argument's sake, if you have 50 str and 50 dex and 20 accuracy, its about time to train acc. training that accuracy up to 30 WILL see significant increases, but at that point, go back to str and dex

What you are saying is certainly possible.

If you want to balance out the benefit on each side.. like this.

From 20 - 50 acc requires 200k in dev pt.
From 50 - 60 str requires a little less than 200k in dev pt.

10 level of stat increase on strength does a lot more damage for melee player.

You know what pop. We can test out this theory. Have a person A using a shotgun with 50 acc 50 dex and 50 str. fight against person B who has 60 acc 50 dex and 20 str.
