That's the nightly scheduled maintenance, and usually only lasts around 3 minutes,

this is probably a larger update, perhaps something to do with Zen's coding marathon she's been working on to update the game.

This game hardly ever has server downtime, especially lately.
Be assured, that whatever's going on, it's necessary, and probably worth the wait.
