After looking at the folks who have left it makes me think........Why hurry to finish the game.....It is a social outlet and in the end I think we all enjoy the banter and conflict.

Mace told right before he left to power level so I could smoke all those who own me......but what then, what do I look forward to.......

I might take his advice but if I want to stay interested in the game I need some stimuli.......maybe I'll just stay where I'm at and continue to get owned......lol

The way I see it, power lvling is not worth much if you can't get your stats up to. Else, you end up like so many players that give others bravery/xp/gbps.

You ll get me sometime Wraith Wink

I think ive heard this before....slow and steady wins the race Smile

Everyone has a different style of play....I myself didnt rush to level until it was a necessity....leveling has its pros and cons...mostly pros

i feel and i may be totally wrong, one thing that is easier imo is busting big times when you are around the 30s

I hate to see good actives go and especially nice guys like mace and bbh. I also dont see the point in rushing to finish a game. I think both of them have their reasons for quitting and like most everyone else here its rl stuff going on.

The game wouldnt be exactly the same without their existence, but it will continue to be played and shaped by those that enjoy it now.

woah has a point, I had some of my most fun playing in the 20-30s levels.....lots of competition there Smile

Does it feel lonely up there Pun? Don't u dare to quit too. Wink

Slow and steadily, as u said, shouldn't burn ppl out, as powerlvling does. Live fast, die young would fit there imo.

Its important to keep a Lvl to stats balance. Power levelling is all well and good but can make it tricky if you end up a high level and dont have the power to back it up

Balance is very key. Not only is it as you said, but a player doesn't necessarily want extremely high stats for his/her level either. The reduction in exp from 90% of AL players (even those that can still overpower you :?Smile makes it easier for "weaker" players to overtake your level and begin training more than you.

I don't think the burn out from power leveling theory is correct... there is plenty of competition at the 40 level. there are loads of 40's now and more on their way. And it wasn't like mace was one of the stronger ones or anything (no disrespect) but he was getting stronger.

People quit at all levels. if your a level 50 or above, and in the top 5 to 10 battle stats would be the only way to get bored enough to quit due to level.
