Just wondering if anyone has compared the two? if so is one better than the other?

1.) You hit for 1407 points of damage. xxxxxxx resists 16 for a total of 1391 damage.

Damage (Axe) VS Hit Rate (Katana)

The major different is that the axe has an 10-20% extra armor penetration in compare to the katana.

For example.
If an Axe hit for 100 damage, the guy with a SiC armor would take about 75 damage.
If the same person uses an katana and hit for 100 damage, the other guy would take about 60 damage.

Katana has a higher hit rate and accuracy than the Axe.

this theory has not been test out. But, it makes perfect sense.
When your weapon skill increase, your hit rate and damage also increases.

For instance,
If Katana can hit 6-7 times in 20 rounds, and Axe can hit 4-5 times in 20 rounds. As your skill increases to 2 times the attack rate, the attack ratio would looks like this.

2x the attack Rate
Katana hit for 12-14 times in 20 rounds, while the Axe hit for 8-10 times.

3x the attack rate
Katana hit for 18-20 times in 20 rounds, while the Axe hit for 12-15 times.

This Katana is going to be slicing things with a lighting speed that the Axe can t even dream of

After 2 months of work, I can post the result.

Longblade weapon has some crazy high critical hit. It is much more accuracy than the axe weapon. And, lighter as well. It needs to have high Strength for it to shine!

Axe weapon has some armor penetration (Higher average Hit). It is NOT as accurate as the katana. And, its havier. It needs to have higher Dexterity for it to shine!

In conclusion, they are both great weapon. Have fun with them.
