Never tried the AR-45 but I did try and compare the SR-45 with the 450 and the P5 Ruger with the SB-1.

Shotguns will always have the biggest hits but requires a lot of strength (and probly other stats too) to do so while pistols have better hit rate and a lower average damage.

Ok, thank you, I will end up getting both, but only because the AR-45 was a limited time weapon.
