If you can use the Ionized Nodachi, the regular hits are the same as the Shogunate, with a better criticals.

If you don't think you can get the endurance for the higher weapons, the shogunate will be fine, but if you have that kind of cash, you should be able to find someone to sell you creds for 450-500 per.
