Dyneema or Spectra is a synthetic fiber based on ultra high molecular weight polyethylene which is 15 times stronger than steel and up to 40 percent stronger than Kevlar. Trenchcoats protect the torso, midsection, and upper leg areas. Minimum resistance rating of 12 needed to utilize this armor to its fullest.

Made with multiple layers of Kevlar covered in Dyneema, light weight 2.4 Kg, it is designed with a low center of gravity and has a configuration which extends protection to the neck and ears areas. It has a cradle type suspension system and is offset from the head to provide space for deformation caused by projectiles and to allow for increased ventilation. Very effective with most mid-grade armors and below. Slightly too awkward to use with composite-level armors as it's coverage area restricts movement of the head.
