Same heroes, sprite, items and gameplay. Just enhanced. Plus it's stil free and most of my games are at steam so why not.

Icefrog tweaked based on input, not his own ability to make choices. I picked his brain over the course of two weeks, and determined it was his belief that last hits had value, denying didn't, and every game should be a race to farm the best items the fastest and then 5 man. His thought process caused extreme stagnation within TFT, which he fixed by making more and more OP heroes, and then nerfing them slightly as feedback came in, usually in the form of "you are a fucking idiot icefrog".

Has icefrog grown a brain since then? Maybe, but that would likely have more to do with Valve than his own ability to adapt to and understand the key issues in gaming of power creep and stagnation.

my point still stands, you don't play counter strike anything without tipping your hat to Gooseman and Cliff. And you don't play DotA, LoL, or HoN without tipping your hat to Eul.

None of these "elite" players could hold a candle to players like Rev, Paxton and the old guard. If you remember xsleekx, he and his gf were top players as well.
