Got rid of chrome awhile ago. The Windows 10 Microsoft edge is pretty nice, just have to go and allow cookies so shit saves and it's a good browser. None of the stuff that slows you down that chrome and Firefox have and if you're just using it for stuff like this, and a few tabs then I definitely recommend. If you're a student and use Zotero or anything then I'd recommend Firefox (just switched to using that for my research papers from chrome and it's a lot better). Chrome use to be the best but it seemed to be getting slower and overall more cumbersome.
