Seems a good day to start online attacks, upping effectiveness and lowering price of stims has to be the way to go as I see it. I dont attack very often and do so only when I decide to lvl. However when I do so I find that after extinguishing my inactive list, then offline players there is a lack of targets with good experience, even at my lvl. Up to now I havent hit people online or even when they are Away because I know what its like on the receiving end. It can be very frustrating and I know that it can slow down a players growth...

Let me explain. I no longer donate, I rely on my activity to keep me competitive, I woudnt be adverse to being hit online as between refeshes, no one does a lot anyway. Why I have been against online hits to date is the cost of stims. Druchii mentions he is not adverse to spending 5-6K per day on stims, where as I am. 5-6k per day over a month is the cost of that months donator pack. This then impacts on my ability to buy weaopns and housing and therefore drops me behind further.

The more the community is forced to buy stims, the poorer it gets and in turn the less money it has to buy credits from donators forcing the price down.

Lowering the cost of stims or upping their effectiveness as they are today is surely a way around this and will free up more targets. Then the lesson becomes, carry stims because you never know when you might need them. Adds a new dimension to the game and if we are honest a bit of anger which is never a bad thing unless you are Zen on the receiving end of the whiners.

New AL slogan, dont whine, buy stims. Hopefully Zen implementing actions like today will cut out the whinging so she can get on with implementing further improvements.

At the end of the day Pullo is right, No online attacks isnt a rule, It is a community led ettiquette. Perhaps its time we all decide that anyone above lvl22 is big enough and rich enough to cope with a couple of online attacks and the pay off for spending a little more on a few stims is more targets to fight (caveat being that stims remain to be more effective in future Zen.)
