Everyone starts at 5 humanity. It would stand to reason if you go less than what you start with you would no longer be human. Also it was where many people that used to play say they first lost their humanity.
Perhaps if more people could be bothered to read and respond on the forums this could be easily figured out but the increasingly lazy lifestyle of many people in the world has concluded the clicking a few links, reading, thinking and typing out those thoughts has proved to be too strenuous a chore for a vast majority of the 100+ remaining players.
List of players to have suggested <5 hum = borg status include aqualung451, jaysin, defzed. Thats just the few i can remember. They were important gang mates during my initial learning of the game.
