Have you double checked if there is an ID# before going to send? I had an issue before when I would click on the link to mail a person and when the mail window came up, the "ID to send to" was blank, therefore it wouldn't send any mail.

Or is the person your sending the mail to online? If so then they might be deleting it therefore it wouldn't show up in your sent items (the only way mail to be removed from your sent box is the person your sending it to deletes it)
