ok my take .

if your going melee and you should have picked melee or ranged by now..

1. your str should be 10-20 levels above your character.
2. your dex should be 5-15 levels above. (or even with main stat as some do)
3. You res should be what ever you need for the armor your have, and worked only when you want to get the next armor, and worked straight through until the next armor is achieved.
4. your acc (if your going to stay melee) should be worked very little as it will not help you.
5. if you choose ranged then you will need str if going shotty eventually so keep it at least at your character level.
