first off not all levels of res are equal.....i have to use mahta on this comparison....his res was unusually high at the time and with his borgs he was a tough opponent for me coming up in the game, but once i passed his res levels with acc i no longer lost or staled but beat him....

sorry mahta

res at higher levels helps, but in the end the extra time needed to make it matter is worthless because you are going to be beaten by acc / str

rarely do i ever stale anyone....even ush and i have only staled i think twice.......res helps, but doesnt decide fights

imo go acc or str......much more bang for your buck

so you're saying once you hit 38 res and equip that tib2, its pretty much a moot point?

i dont know...i feel like ive seen benefits in the mid ranged levels at least.

Loki also shared this feeling. Said he only trained res for weapons requirement.

ok, fine I will chime in... from what I have seen res helps very little.. being that if you work a whole level of res you might stop another point per hit.

This is not the case with the armor, hence the res is only good for equipping armor argument...

when you add a level of acc you get more then 8-10 damage boost on average, and it is easier to train....

with dex you can avoid more damage than res can stop per level IMO...

So it is not being lazy it is being smart.

Also I have unusually low res... I learned early lol Wanna try me

From fighting Bangnapi over the last year I can tell you that I have always been able to beat him. Recently he has done nothing but train RES it appears and now tops the Pantheon for RES. There is a very real chance that I may stale him but Ill never lose to him. I suspect as I build up ACC and DEX it will tip back in my favour, but for now hes made himself tougher to beat but it hasnt affected his ability to beat others

Conrad attacked the Wranglers and Lost.

Because of the training patterns of the majority of players in this game, resistance has become fairly useless beyond requirements.

It does have an impact, but it's nowhere near the same result as training acc or dex, and it's even more difficult to train.

I think that res has most value or it would not be so hard to train.

i believe Resistance is a important battle stat when i was training res up to get to Composite AL203 Armor i could notice a difference in the amount of damage i was taken and resisting by looking in Battle Log and Combat Results before i got into the Composite Al203 Armor
