We have 6 hard drives in a RAID config. This means if one dies another can be put in to be restored with no data loss. Apparently they had their heads up their butts and used the incorrect drive to do the last restore.
Here I thought the issue was finally solved. Instead they had to stop the restore process a quarter of the way through. So finally they get the correct drive in the machine to restore it and we have to have the downtime again.
Glad the drives have warranties, because them suckers aren't cheap!
We should start fires, I find that tends to solve everything. except for fighting fire with fire, that tends to not work so well.
