It's amazing how 0.01 in a version number for our database system (mysql) can make something not work the same. The development server was a different version than the live server by x.x1 and caused some messages to pop up as not new or not at all. Fixed.

Fantastic! This was long overdue, and will keep the postman from going postal.


Notification by the mail link would make this perfect. Maybe even have the new gang mail notifier be a different color like this:

Mail (2) (3)

So, this could indicate you have 2 unread PMs and 3 unread GMs.

I DO love the yellow. Such a happy color! AND gag mass mail needs a change in appearance to make people feel good about gang mass mails.
