The SiC Composite Armor is a Kevlar Suit of Silicon Carbide bonded with aramid fibers to create a solid light-weight plate of protection able to withstand heavy rifle fire. The plates are lighter than the AL2O3 armor and slightly more protective, requiring significant strength (rating 12) and stamina (endurance 9) to wear effectively. In addition, a resistance of 22 is also required to see the benefits of the armor.
