Just wondering if there is a way to increase the skill points earned per train. As it is, I usually get between 8 and 19 points per train. Does intelligence have anything to do with it? Or is it just random?

I've gotten 20 before... but I don't remember it going much above that.

I've noticed the higher skill level I get the higher the average skill points I earn per hour studied.

you intel does impact how high you can rank though. Intel 5 means you can only get to lvl 5 in a skill. I haven't seen any increase in points though with my intel improving, though as tommi said it does seem to improve with your rank in a skill.
