Thanks guys.
Whoever mentioned the kitchen, rock on. It's because of your fear that I get to party today.
Seriously girls, here's to the right to vote, the right to choose a professional path, the right to sign a mortgage and the right to kick ass!
And to all our sisters spread throughout the world that still fight every day for the right to study, work, walk freely, vote and take charge of their destiny, this day is for you.
A couple of important dates :
1893 : New Zealand women get right to vote
1918 : Canadian women get right to vote
1920 : US women get right to vote
1945 : French women get right to vote
1960 : FDA approves first birth-control pill
1963 : Equal pay act
1969 : No fault divorce law
1976 : Marital rape considered illegal (about effin' time too)
