Subscription Donation - ZeonOne - 2009.Aug.06 12:07 PM
Zenith can create a subscription base system.
5 dollars a month contribution. You will have a month of donator status and 250 CR for you to use.
Or
10 dollars a month contribution. You get a small gift. a monthly donator status and 750 CR for you to use.
This will keep the steady income flowing into AL. Allow Zen to possibly hire extra talent or buy new equipment as needed.

It's convenience for the user, and more money for AL.
Definitely an option to be consider.

It would be a personal choice to subscribe or not, if you don't watch over your money, its your own darn problem, you're either too rich or too dumb.
There's other games out there with that system and as far as I know, none of them had any major problems with it.

There is a paypal option for subscriptions, however it's not really my account to fiddle with. I'll ask the significant other about it.
As for giving extra credits, I can see that as a possibility. We go into each month having no clue what our donations will be. Knowing beforehand what it will end up could allow us to set our ad budgets accordingly.

Missed the part about bonus credits. If it works, I suggest to start giving extras only at the 2nd or even 3rd month of subscription, to make sure player do not subscribe, get their bonus and unsubscribe 2 days later.

maybe a system that has increments of credit rewards, like 2nd month 100, 3rd month 150, 4th 200 etc. maybe caps at 300 or something
