How Do Gang Points Work - Budweiser - 2009.Apr.22 11:21 AM
so im pretty new so i hope i posted this in the right section but i need some help figurin this out more then onece i have attacked a lvl 19 in a gang battle (cant find the fight log) and havent gotten any points and then last night a lvl 21 i didnt even hit attacked me and i lost a poit how does it work?

If they're in the same gang as the person that attacked you, they might not have had gang points. If that's not the case, then the people were really weak and wouldn't give you gang points anyway. And if that's not the case, could always say that the gang point system blows.
I don't much care for it, either, anymore.

yea i dont like the gang point system either level 26s and 30s will attack me and gets points wtf

basically if you have strong stats, stats similar to your opponent they will gain a gang point
now the level 19 you hit like tommi said, either his/her gang has no points to take, or she/he is just a weak 19...or you're a really strong 15
Everytime you bite off with someone regardless of their level you will lose atleast a point, thats if you have points to lose... You may lose more than a single point if you bite off with someone weaker than you or very close to you in Power Level...
for example if a level 10 attacks a level 40... level 10 still loses a single point...
Basically if you are losing a gang point to a level 20-25 it means your stats are pretty close to each other...

i still dont understand how i can have a close power lvl to someone i didnt ven hit

what lvl 26 and 30 are getting points off you i mmmmay be able togive them a run for there money if its a power lvl thing.

Don't think it's a power lvl thing. I was pretty surprised I even got a point off of you, Joe.
I think what he's asking is - in the fight we had - he didn't even hit me once and I still got a point. Which I admit is strange at best.

Randomlands at work, I've had players who are tougher and higher level hit me and get 5gp for it. Just have to deal with it, it usually evens out

from what i have4 read on it , it is by your power lvl, now stats , and equipment i think is how you get your power lvl and maybe skills fit in as well now, but only zen and err can really say, unless anybody can get thor to do his search magic again
