what if one could "invest" Energy points into the job, to increase the gains from the job.

Could be setup like the XP system.

50EP doubles gains
then to triple it you would need
100EP
quadruple it by investing
200EP
and so on

instead of attacking one could train and spend leftover energy on increasing job gain

Could be a button on job page called "Work Overtime"

I like it, personally I would use this system at times instead of attacking.

Same here, sometimes all decent targets are taken, happiness is shot. So instead of attacking level 8's to get 30xp this could be nice Biggrin

ya, I agree. the only thing I would do is make the cost increase a little faster and adjust it for lvls. for eg.

double stats = 100% EP
triple stats = 300% EP
quadruple stats = 900% EP

this way we don't have everyone in the police commisioner job in a week.

yeah sounds alot more reasonable. but would need a Status bar saying what you have and need. so that you know what to aim for.

for sure. lol, imagine having to keep track or guess. just something small on whatever screen is used to do the overtime.
