For example, say a weapon requires 10 strength and 10 intelligence. You have 9 strength and 8 intelligence, but a 5 rating in that weapon's skill. When you go to equip, the system will add 2 (5 divided by 2 rounded down) to your stats for requirement purposes. So with that skill, you can equip the weapon because you are seen as having an 11 strength and 10 intelligence.

Or you told the weapon who's boss, and it gets scared into lowering it's requirements.

I actually consider that a fair trade off for alot of additions we have been crying about including but not limited too - New Mid Level Weapons, Changing Of Current Weapon Stats, Lower Endurance Requirements and General Complaining for new Stuff.

Agree, this would solve a lot of issues.
