Agreed. something like:
Gang Mass Mail: (type subject here)
This way gang members know that this is from a mass mail but also will know what the mail is intended for

My armadillo helmet missing Yoda, she may have stole it, the force might not work..
That's a really good idea, hope Zen likes it as much as we do and codes it in.
