But what if i dont take it seriously personally. Is there anything saying they have to use the donated money to better the game or a clause saying they have to continue updating as long as there is x amount of dollars being donated?

From the disclaimer:
"13. Donations and/or payments of any sort made to Awakened Lands towards running and maintenance costs and/or any other premium features made through an online vendor are non-refundable."
"21. Not withstanding the foregoing, in no event shall Awakened Lands have any liability to you for any claims, damages, losses, and causes of action (whether in contract, tort or otherwise)."

But we're not asking for a refund or just asking them to maintain their game that they ask for donations to. No refund please just do your job.
That's why it has to be for misappropriation of funds. It's like a demand to fulfill your stated endeavors.

Just like taxes: you paid, now f you. There is, by definition of tax, no particular or fair mandatory return in any way to be demanded.
