is it possible just to explore and have a walk around. Or not? Can my character like explore and find things?

the explore link is structured.. it takes you to the different areas or the game. bank, stores, school, ect.ect. it is a essential link in the game. (not that there are any that are not).but to answer your question. no, cant just find things laying about. gotta get a job
and PAY for your stuff.
