yea they do. i've fought like 8 times now, no weapon strike.
it is level 1. it should at least do SOMETHING.
do i need to get it to level 10 before it hits once? that seems like a waste

The weapon strike skill is useful only when a ranged weapon is equipped.This skill can provide one or more extra physical attacks when using your ranged weapon as a club.
