here's the problem, zen. there is NOTHING of dire importance posted in these forums. if you have an update, or a thread of real interest, or a game problem...you can sticky it and mod the ever loving shit out of it and the community will understand and live with it. when you start 3rd reiching everything and just saying "off topic" on everything, wtf do you think was gonna happen?

Yes we should have a forum but not as it is.
- Remove the General discussion section.
- Leave the game updates and trade section.
We don't need a section for general discussion. It has not been used for anything other than winging and bitching for the past 2 years.
Moderating the trade section is simple. If your posts/threads have nothing to do with buying or selling, then your punished for it.
For far to long, most of the community have acted like children when posting. Time to clean things up.

your suggestion would pretty well eliminate any interaction among players via the forums. my point was that it is a game. there shouldn't be anything wrong with some mindless dribble. since there haven't been any huge developments in recent memory, the conversation can't help but digress to an extent until otherwise.
