Aussies come from almost every country in the world. i would suggest we have a greater combined culture then any other country on the planet. i went to school with kids from over 150 different countries. this is over 10 years ago, now it would be an even greater number in the schools. that is a great thing in how it encourages people to be more tolerant and understand diversity. we also don't have one religious view that is fully dominant over the rest. creating a more free society then any other that i know of.

just like in the USA there where people living here before the British came. i believe the reason many people came to Australia (after the first boats) was to create a better life for themselves. the gold rush was when many nationalities started to come here.

The reason people went to Australia is because they were forced to! It was only the Eastern half though. I will be on the Eastern part of Australia in about a week and a half too. Bonus for you guys getting to have me bless your continent with my presence. You're welcome in advance.
