I have not trained str, acc or dex in about a month and a half while training my res exclusively.

What I noticed as my res improved is that I was getting increasingly lower exp point from the folks I attacked and had to shift to tougher opponets to get the 300+ points of exp........I also noticed some of the stronger players were zapping me.....I attribute it the good experience I was able to give after improving my res........

I only trained it to equp the better armour........It has helped me.....

i feel this applies, so i'm gonna paste my post from the other thread

i've said it once and i'll say it again, this is how i remember zenith answered the same question

accuracy: increases ranged damage a LOT, and increases melee damage slightly. assists in hitting targets and some crimes

dexterity: crucial to committing crimes, and assists in dodging/hitting in battle

resistance: sort of an X factor, affects everything slightly to some degree, mostly reducing damage in battle (thats what zenith said, and was her explanation for why its so hard to train!)

strength: increases melee damage a LOT, increases ranged damage slightly, increases amount of weight you can carry, and reduces encumbrance rate.

also, rule of thumb is if the stat is required, you should train it!

Resistance. This is what happens when you have a lot of it.

Total Damage Resisted 1,618

Or fighting an NPC with a belt on...

I got 38 + borg resistance and have never seen any numbers even close to that.

That wasnt me. That was what was resisted against me in a fight with the guy with the most resistance in the game

- JakeBlues - 2009.Feb.11 10:31 AM

Oh, than I get it.

With the same dude, be he attacking me.

Total Damage Received 1,113
Total Damage Resisted 1,087
Total Damage Taken 658 26

i have noticed that resistance only really helps for armor requirements.

i took armor off and the most i resist per hit is 1 point.
you would think with res over 20 you should at least resist 20 per hit taken
