What I don't get as far as working. Like it says on that, you got 8 exp points from working. But my work exp stays the same. Isn't that where the exp points are supposed to go?

no, it is actually 8 EXP, that goes to your EXP. very, very small amounts for us higher level players, and is semi-decent for the lower end players
