I think you need atleast 35 str to use Ono axe so his encumbrance wouldn't be that high if the axe was all he had equipped.

Doesn't have to be equipped to affect ur encumbrance rate I dont think all it has to be is in your inventory

Regardless, we need a lot of new blood. And, a new mechanic in the game to make this game alive again.
Imagine we have 10 times more players, this forum will be the first thing to come alive. More start up gang will be around. Weapon market, item market, credit market will be alive again.
I think a good new mechanic would be the Quest idea that I had mentioned before. Start off with Admin creating quests. Eventually, player run system to create more quests to satisfy other player.
If you asked me, I would hire some college temp. Or, contract it to some india company to do the add on.
Cost about 2k, and, it get done in a month or 2.
As far as user base, the best way is to incorporate this game in Facebook. We will see 2-3 times the players in 2-3 months.

Oh, and on a sidenote, the only reason crunchy did that much damage to PK was the candy....
