If I donate it do I get unlimited donation days? - JakeBlues - 2008.Aug.15 06:56 PM Mock8800 Wrote:I'm in currently possession of a sever. If I donate it do I get unlimited donation days? A unique butter knife! - zenith - 2008.Aug.15 06:56 PM Message me in-game if it has capacity for more than 16 GB of RAM. - dekarr - 2008.Aug.15 07:12 PM I also have 2 servers sitting next to me,they are older hardware that came from a medical institute. I don't know what AL needs to run, but these are dual 1.6's with a gig of ram and 6 scsi drives. They also weight about 40 pounds each. - BL00DYHAZ3 - 2008.Aug.15 07:16 PM AL Dooms day! - ShadowKid - 2008.Aug.15 07:18 PM BL00DYHAZ3 Wrote:AL Dooms day! We are using 12 GB RAM currently and I was under the impression we were using it all. But after finding out the truth today I am not quite sure if I bought the RAM for our needs or our hosts needs. I have been looking at quad-core Xeon processor systems with a capacity of 16 GB or RAM minimum. RAID is also a must since we don't want to have any hard drive data loss if one fails. We don't really need drive space as much as drive performance. When we look at our stat pages like the pantheon and attack logs it has to handle a lot of data. - ShadowKid - 2008.Aug.15 07:53 PM Zen it seem's AL is saving your arse . - dekarr - 2008.Aug.15 07:58 PM yes 2 servers with 6 drives a piece, also 3 Power supplies per, which makes for a ridiculous amount of weight. And the drives are as is, so theres probably medical records on them, I just don't wanna pay the electricity bills for running them, nor am I very savy with win2k3 server. |
