if I recall correctly, space wranglers (499 version) rocked the old code for a time. So maybe, just maybe he's got a clue.

Wranglers definitely mixed it up on the old system.
I remember Mudpies taking out theBoss for us while we pummeled the rest of the gang. I think we were all about level 7's back then.

Well i remember the Old Code and while i miss the pvp I dont at all miss worrying and wondering if I upset the wrong person this time and will i still have a gang when i wake up.
I still think there must be a way to blend the two and get something a little more interesting than what we have now.
And I seem to recall a while back someone suggested merging gangs for a fee. I think this would help control the amount of gangs we currently have. As well as possibly offerring a buy back of some sort, if say the gang you purchased for a ref suddenly goes inactive and/ or the ref leaves.

there is no going back.
if you miss the old code so much incorporate it into the new code.
If a gang attacks your gang and you want to fight them, then fight them.
Seems pretty simple to me.

can't several weaker players beat a higher level?
one attack & knock down their hit points and then a 2nd person immediately throw the knock out blows.
when I was a very low level player in the old gang war system that's what we did
