Are the days numbered?
When I first joined there were 15 pages of active members, there are less then 9 pages today. Is the game on its way out?

No just difficult to get new sign-ups. I've readjusted the ads a couple of days ago and it seems to be back to last year's sign-up pace though. Any suggestions on where to advertise lemme know.

The facebook ads didn't actually work. But then again, we didn't have an app yet. We have a beta version of an app for facebook, but it's still very raw.

what about sites like
agame.com they have ads for other games while the game you wanna play is loading...
addictinggames.com another fairly popular site...
bored.com
those sites may be more geared towards the particular market you need for sign ups...
most other common site i visit are sports related, probably wouldnt find many people on those looking to play a text based role playing game....

make an ipod app. they are all the rage now. and a lot of txt based rpgs/games are making their way there.
