Which is better because the amount you resist goes through a random number generator based on your stats/armor. Oh, cool cool. RE: most resisted in one battle? - abysmalpoptart - 2010.Jul.05 07:44 AM ![]() my resisted amount would be way higher if not for my armor handling, which makes no sense to me -.- the amount blocked from armor handling should be shown and thrown into the damage resisted score -.- RE: most resisted in one battle? - Brugada - 2010.Jul.05 08:51 AM (2010.Jul.05 07:44 AM)abysmalpoptart Wrote: are you saying the AH holds you back? im pretty high in AH and resisted almost 4k several times. RE: most resisted in one battle? - snorkelbill - 2010.Jul.05 09:41 AM What he's saying is armor handling takes damage right off the top. Then resistance and stuff are added in. Here's a complete contrived example. You get hit for 4,500 points of damage. Armor handling takes 750 points right off the top, leaving 3,750 points of damage. Your resistance and armor and belt remove 3k of damage. You take 750. In this scenario, your resistance was 3k. Now let's take another person with 0 armor handling. They take the same 4,500 points of damage. They resist 3,750, so they also take 750 points of damage. The end result of the fight is the same, but they resisted more, because they had no armor handling to straight negate the damage. Poptart is saying the amount removed by armor handling should be added in to resistance, as in both cases above, 3,750 points of damage were "resisted". RE: most resisted in one battle? - InPaceRequiscat - 2010.Jul.07 08:06 AM Makes it pretty hard to quantify the benefit of AH when you have no idea how well it's working... Would also prefer to see it part of "resisted" damage. Ok, everyone! Stop the presses! InPace wants it this way, so we have to get it done ASAP! Ok?
