I had like 650 points toward a 1000 needed for next level. Went on vacation without quitting the job. Lost those 650 points by getting fired.
Yet if you quit your job you keep your points......sounds illogical to me. Even when you get fired from your job you still get your pay in RL. Either way I think you should get paid for your time. Yes I feel slighted by AL!

you only get your pay if you WORKED. you get a continued pay if you get LAID OFF. if you're fired, you dont get paid extra, you only get paid for the time you showed up to work and did something.

Wow i never knew that you could get fired from your job. I am glad that i finding this out. So basically if you are going away for any extended period of time it is best to quit your job so you do not lose anything.

i to lost a job rank, and it dropped me from the top 30 on the career list into the mid 40's. now that sucks
