Football. Origins can be traced back to 1480's
American Football. Origins can be traced back to mid 19th century.
Therefore please give the full title of American Football when you refer to it and leave alone the real Football and never ever refer to it as soccer.

NFL=UCL????

NFL=National Football League(American Football)
UCL=UEFA Champions League(European Football=Soccer)
I think UCL is better 8)
