I had issues with your squad and you all called in the big dogs to handle it. I made a non-poignant, and in most people's eyes entertaining comment about w00k, after his forward and inappropriate attack on a fellow gang mate of mine. If you wanna blame Zen for this, so be it, you are only making your self look as childish as w00k and Loki have. Have fun pushing this back and forth, I will play my game as I always have and once you all stop swinging on the spandex and picking up the Super Doantor's loose change, maybe you will have as much fun as I do. P.S. Thoise Bloody's yesterday were scrum-didli-umpcious... - alinutza - 2008.Jun.26 10:31 AM TommiTheTaco Wrote:That's when you reply to them and tell them to 'open their eyes and actually read.' Probably it wasn't the best choice to lock it, but she did it with quoting the post she made so others will see it when they read the last page to see who locked the thread.. - Err - 2008.Jun.26 10:34 AM teamhood Wrote:So why is it that 15+ hosp's and Marlo hardly even inflicted any damage to w00k, then you pop online and all of a sudden he starts inflicting damage? This is just flat out not correct. Marlo was inflicting quite a bit of damage on w00k the last 6 hospitalizations out, and even inflicted more damage on w00k then w00k inflicted on him in the majority of those. Here is the data of the 17 hospitalizations that occured by w00k on Marlo yesterday and you can go ahead and judge for yourself... w00k Dmg, w00k Max Hit, Marlo Dmg, Marlo Max Hit, Winner 1996 529 599 283 w00k 1996 581 698 215 w00k 2094 374 1102 311 w00k 1407 230 0 0 w00k 2630 754 468 198 w00k 1114 240 378 245 w00k 1068 499 1024 603 w00k 1233 650 253 140 w00k 1615 238 576 205 w00k 1106 253 758 212 w00k 1106 348 851 299 w00k 2011 263 1533 444 w00k 2331 523 2507 521 w00k 1543 265 1988 582 w00k 1645 331 1877 271 w00k 1905 592 1261 287 w00k 1236 273 2864 521 Marlo Obviously on some of these attacks Marlo was not at full strength. But you can clearly see he began doing more and more damage as the attacks wore on. The code that was in place yesterday, and for months prior to that, "helped" people who were being repeatedly hospitalized. This was not the code that should have been in place, but a mistake was made and that happens. This is just the first time something like this has occured since the old code was accidentally put back in so we never caught it. It really bothers me that a player would accuse Zenith of purposely helping out another player. Why would she do that? What would she have to gain? It's not like if she helped Marlo he was going to donate billions of dollars to the game. I think if you try to take emotion out of it and think objectively, you would see that she really had nothing to gain by doing that. If anything all that would do is hurt the integrity of this game. Why would she take that risk? Not to mention w00k is a great player and both Zenith and I would really hate to see him leave over this. I can definitely understand his frustration as he has put in a lot of time and effort into this game to be one of the strongest players and I am sure it is frustrating to lose to a player he is much stronger than. I hope he comes back and at least tries to talk to Zenith or myself about this, or reads the forums and sees what the problem was. It's never fun seeing a player leave, especially over something like this. - TommiTheTaco - 2008.Jun.26 10:37 AM Err Wrote:teamhood Wrote:So why is it that 15+ hosp's and Marlo hardly even inflicted any damage to w00k, then you pop online and all of a sudden he starts inflicting damage? I don't want to turn this into a who was right, who was wrong discussion. Hospitalizing people are a part of the game and it's gonna happen. I merely wanted to post to show everyone what really went on yesterday with the attacks and why Marlo was able to beat w00k. - ArtVandelay - 2008.Jun.26 10:46 AM Behemoth do you honestly believe that he would never stop? Getting hospitalized for a day is not a big thing. My advice if something like this happens again: a) Stop talking drek b) Stay in serious condition c) Genuinely ask them to stop d) Get stronger and turn the tables on them some day - Marlo - 2008.Jun.26 10:47 AM Tom, I honestly do not think that delving into that aspect of this situation is prudent at this juncture. There was a mistake in the coding, and in return one of the most active and dedicated players has taken his longest hiatus since his start. - TommiTheTaco - 2008.Jun.26 10:47 AM Err Wrote:TommiTheTaco Wrote:I suppose that it's okay for him to hospitalize people nonstop, though, and have a possibility of them quitting the game, then? Who's doing that? I ask a question, you get to making 'I dun wanna do this and that and whatever the F else.' It is part of the game, but you're making him seem like he's better than everyone else with 'you don't want him to leave because of this,' this being him getting his head tossed around by Marlo ONCE. - TommiTheTaco - 2008.Jun.26 10:49 AM Marlo Wrote:Tom, I honestly do not think that delving into that aspect of this situation is prudent at this juncture. I guess I'll quit. There's not point in making a point when there aren't open ears, and 'objectiveness' is only for the check writing flunkies. |
