how close are you to level 52? if you can get there with 20k or so exp, you can just use the canes to refresh your EP, then keep attacking. use your AP refreshes to pay for stims. between crimes and the elves, you will get the exp needed to hit 52, and then be able to attack 3 times per refresh
you will nearly double up your canes each time.
