i hope my point isn't being lost here, it is to both give a place for aggressive comments and no off topic rules. its not a place for random porn images to be posted. i will never ever be able to get that pic of docking out of my brain. those things have no home in any forum.
it will let the general section be about game issues only. it will prolly kill off the general section to be honest, i don't see how anyone can have a problem with this, you don't have to visit the new forum. NO PORN will be acceptable posts.
the guys who have voted so far are mainly mods. interesting..... what are you guys afraid of?

I'm not afraid of anything with bringing back the Battleground, it was fun while we had it. But people proved that they can't handle the privileges that came with that section of the forum.
That aside, what would you say in there that isn't already said in every thread on here?

the ability to talk shit about ppl is what shouldn't be happening in a section that is designed for in game improvements or issues to be raised. trade is for trade. ofw is for stuff non game related.
the new forum would keep all the game related shit talking there. no one is forced to go into it. the mods could mod the hell out of general and no one can complain if it is off topic or not belonging there.
i don't want the old battleground back. it was way too easy to abuse, have rules that we all understand, the first being that any porn links or images should result in bannings. they shouldn't be acceptable. i think its time for a new section where mods only have to clean up if needed. not because they feel they have a moral obligation. a new forum won't hurt anyone, especially if they don't even go into it. how can this be a bad thing for the game?

move game and forum feedback to the top and merge general topic and off the wall together and drop them down underneath, then youd have a forum for the good of the game at the top and a forum for the bollocks underneath. and then open a section just for quagmire that he could play in on his own and be happy
