If you actually did the math, sitting there to crunch your numbers, then you should know why you got smoked.
They might have resisted more, also.

I'm with Tommi on this one.
If you did twice the damage to them that they did to you, then they probably resisted twice as much as you did (or more).
Even though you don't donate, you can sped a few credits to get donator status. At this time of night, it probably wouldn't be all that many either.

Go to the market buy 5 credits then go to the donor house and get donor status for the day. Then you can look at the fight log and see why you lost.
