When I was leveling I could go days without losing and then bite off 3 times in a row on him. Same with custie.

The only difference is that my ACC and RES are both several levels UP from where they were the last time I farmed this guy.

My question was legitimate, Howl. I was asking if there was a difference in the code that anyone else noticed or if Rivette noticeably changed something to other players.
Randomlands or not, you don't' go from being 42-2 to 42-8 like I am now without some variable changing.
Since I've increased my RES 3 levels and my ACC 5. It makes it fishy.
But if you'd have asked the question it would have been acceptable and noble. (But a lot more pretentious and whiny.)
