not gonna lie idk what that is. but at 14 i paid about $300 in income taxes. this year i paid about $700. doesn't sound like much to a dentist, but to a highschool student $700 is a lot of money
man you got screwed or you have a terrible accountant...did your parents claim you? i worked all through school and have been for 20 years....im no slouch...i believe in hard work and then play more so.....good for you if you have.....thats awesome..i know people that make 20k a year and get 3k back for having some kids and they call it credits....so who is getting screwed here....i pay 30% plus some...not happy with that and im sure no one here is unless they dont work at all

You're not the only one that thinks that's kinda grimy. I know someone who's made about $20,000, on SSI, claimin' on a kid, paid about $500-$1,000 in taxes and get a huge check of $7,000 in a tax return.
Wish there was some parallel.

tbh idk how it worked, as i'm not 18 yet i can't really handle the tax forms according to my mom, i just know that i don't like taxes one bit...

i've been on unemployment for almost a year and a half from getting laid off @ my part time, while i was in school full-time. now i'm just getting paid being a full time student, it's pretty badass!

Oil went down two days in a row to drop below $80/barrel. Although it's made a slight gain so far today. $7/gallon in the U.S. would take probably $200/barrel.
