because he edited or removed posts that were either inappropriate, excessive, or off topic. some people can't handle being corrected, and freak out because of it.

More like he went on a spree that edited, locked, removed posts that were something he disagreed with. Not to mention editing posts without leaving a comment muiltiple times, and being an overall annoyance versus help.
