Wat does it mean when u go to attack a gang when in war and it says that the other gang has -178 damage when their status is at good and everytime that u attack it goes further into the negatives?

we are in war with super villians and when u go to the page to attack the gang and it shows how much damage ur gang has done so far and its in the negatives and their health is at good wat does it mean?
your beating them down ( - ) and they keep going down into the negative until they are beat.

that or they could have repaired their hideout. im not really sure.
they are in good because you have barely touched them. i think a gangs hideout starts out with 1500 or so HP. Im sure SV is prolly 2500+, so 187 damage is nothing. They go from excellent to good to fair to serious to critical to falling apart to beaten.
well usually when u attack a gang the damage in the bar goes up to tell how much damage u've done. has there been an update thats changed it
well i knew that much. but i thought maybe they have repaired, too?
the damage bar goes down, to the left.
and now when i check how much damage i caused them
