Drops?!? This is not final fantasy or diablo, you aint getting drops from killing monsters. Already with that statement, it shows you never played this kind of game.

Name your games, I too, like many others here have played over a dozen or 2 online games of different kind, AL is my oldest and one of the 2 to ever last more than 3 months (beside D2 but thats not even comparable)

Am I odd for not having ever played any other online games? I got so hooked on this so fast, that I felt it was in my best interest to steer clear of any other games. Aside from all that, I also figured I could only afford just this one game!

This style of game is very rare, and people liking it too. The number of registered users vs the playing ones details it.

You got to have some kind of imagination, tendancy to addictions, and so on.

AND patience, cause nothing is easy here.
