what system is it? when you try to get on a forbidden site it will tell you like you... Ironport/wedsnese etc...
Also you need to go to the site listed on these pages at home and find a good proxy... if you need to put the proxy IP address in order to circumvent the system and you browser is greyed out where you need to enter it please post letting Us know and we will work on another solution...
there are ways around all systems for the most part.
I'm using NMCI (Navy Marine Corps Intranet).
I've tried to use proxy's... but NMCI blocks them too. I'll try some of the ones listed here.
It's really not TOOOO bad, I guess. I have a Samsung Instinct and it works pretty well - it's easy to sign on real quick.
I just liked having an AL window up all the time to remind me to do some gym/trains and attacks. I "remember" less now because I'm so much more productive at work due to AL being gone!

NMCI uses websense.

All remotes (both IR and RF), iPods, thumb drives and radios are also disallowed in my building.
we used to be able to look at ANYTHING on the net. now they told us we cant do crap but work related. i still log in screw em. its not blocked. youtube, myspace, and all game sites are blocked though.
The funny thing is... Facebook isn't blocked (yet) but things like AL are.
