Just so you all know.Every state in America has different rules.As with every single country in the world.
This game is set in the near future.Not now! Not in the past.Hence rules that apply to everyday life now dont apply to the game.It could be a totalitarian game,but its not.Its very fair to everyone,as fair as can be.
We are lucky to have admins that actually respond to mails and topics and who even make topics about possible changes to see what the AL population thinks.Can you imagine Bush sending out ballots for people to fill in before making legislation?
The hosp option was implemented for these reasons.
1) to beat a player up you had a problem with.
2) to make a statement to that player.
3) if you were getting harassed someone could use the option to make a point.
Basically it was meant for game play.An option to "solve" problems.
Whats happened recently has been for none of the above.The player's doing it hide behind the we are in the rules speech.Well somewhere in the rules the spirit of the game is being abused.
What you should have said was teambpr has gotten away with it for over a year,whats wrong with us doing it.That would have held more weight to your argument.Teambpr has been allowed to do this and not been warned off.
But times change.Rules can be modified.New rules can be implemented to put a stop to behaviour that is deemed a threat to the community.
So better late than never I thankyou zen for making it clear what is tolerated in YOUR game and what is not tolerated.
