Because you can't quite reach your whole gang in the hospital..Unless they're all there with you..And all in the same hall as you..

Because the nurse is already trying to make you more "comfortable"

nah, i agree with him. you can do gang war defenses from the hosp, but you cant send a mail? uhhh

jail, on the other hand, makes sense. you can only send 1 letter at a time, otherwise bubba will discover your attempts to communicate, and he'll ... make your time more troubling.
